I have more than 20 years of practice and training specializing in breath-led asana, including multiple trips to Mysore, India to study at the Ashtanga Yoga Institute, several stints working in yoga studios, apprenticing and assisting in Mysore-style Ashtanga programs, and teaching as part of the Prison Liberation Project. I was first introduced to Ashtanga Yoga while pursuing competitive cycling in Boulder, CO, and was immediately hooked by yoga’s ability to heal both mind and body while addressing the spirit. I’m dedicated to providing a safe and encouraging environment for students of all ages and abilities to realize the many benefits of regular yoga practice to mind, body and spirit.A songwriter, writer, bird and beach lover, I live in Alameda with my husband and cat.
