Yoga Belly is our signature “core-centric” class where we focus on shortening and lengthening core muscles and engaging three classic yoga bandhas (locks): mula, uddiyana, and jalandhara.
Engaging these bandhas/locks help in directing and flowing the prana (inner energy).
This dynamic yoga class includes breath work and foundations of flow, transitioning from one pose to the next with breath.
Yoga Belly sequence moves from floor work to standing poses, then balancing to seated poses, and beyond. When practiced regularly, Yoga Belly will help tone, tighten, and strengthen your core as well as help you develop a powerful yoga practice.
