Iva was born and raised in Hong Kong. She is a certified E-RYT500 & YACEP yoga teacher. She has been teaching yoga for more than ten years in Hong Kong and the USA. She also has completed a 500-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training, Prenatal Yoga, and Chair yoga. She is also a Mat-Pilates Instructor, Certified Exercise Physiologist, Certified flexibility Coach, and Certified Sound Healer.

Additionally, she has academic qualifications in Kinesiology, therapeutic option (B.S), focusing on human movement, injury prevention, and biomechanics. Her love for learning also led her to study how to apply science into yoga and continue to remain open to being a student of life.

As a cancer survivor, she began to look inside this wonderful container—her body—and to see it from the inside out. She found out that combined the acupressure with yoga practice can help her by alleviating various symptoms and side effects commonly experienced after cancer treatment, such as pain, nausea, fatigue, hot flashes, anxiety, insomnia, and peripheral neuropathy, effectively improving her overall quality of life by managing these issues without relying solely on medication; acupressure does this by stimulating specific points on the body to balance energy flow according to Traditional Chinese Medicine principles.

She continues to study an Advance Yin Yoga Teacher Training Diploma with Jo Phee and an Acupressure Mastery Program, focusing on acupressure, meridian, five element theory, and the powerful Ancient Healing Energy System because she wants to apply that knowledge into her practice and also imply in her teaching.

Her goal is to serve anyone who has any physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual concerns that prevent them from living their best life.
